Brittany Pires, E-RYT 200, first found yoga in 2009 and AcroYoga in 2013, where her love of movement really blossomed. She has two 200hr certifications (earning her first in 2016 and a second in 2018) and continued her yoga education with advanced trainings in anatomy, Prenatal, Yin, Restorative, and AcroYoga, among others.In her classes, she aims to create a supportive and comforting space for students to explore movement with compassion, empowerment, and acceptance. She guides a well-rounded practice using awareness and encouragement to create a balance between strength and mobility, inviting students listen to their bodies with the intention of longevity and self-care. When she is not teaching, she currently works full-time as a licensed Pelvic Floor physical therapist assistant at Houston Methodist. Her teaching methodology is rooted in balancing strength and personal exploration to keep the body safe, fulfilled, and functioning at optimal health.
